Resolutions & Rebalancing….With Summer fast approaching, it’s time to take a long, hard look at lifestyle, current health, and fitness status. As the days go by, it is so very easy to get distracted by life, make excuses as to “why” I just can’t make it to the gym, and just eat convenient foods. Ultimately, all resulting in fatigue, brain fog and LOTS of extra pounds! We are individually accountable for ourselves. Meaning, no one else is going to get you to your goals but YOU. I am determined to make myself a priority each day. It seems like most of the time the year starts with good intentions, but resolutions come and go with minimal thought. 2018 needs to be different. 2018 will be a year of rebalancing! What does that mean? Well, it means taking a critical look at my daily activities and eliminating activities that are wasting my time; decluttering my home, schedule and mind (boy does this need to happen!); establishing new nutritional habits on a daily basis; cleaning up my diet and environment; and honestly setting realistic resolutions for the year and reevaluating my progress to meeting each of the goals set.
Resolution 1: 1 hour a day belongs to me
Resolution 2: Make better food choices
Resolution 3: Exercise a minimum of 30 minutes daily
Resolution 4: Declutter life
Resolution 5: Maintain a clean environment (my home and any other part of the environment that I can control)
I am ready for 2018 to be the BEST year yet! How about you?
